my
Story

I have spent my life immersed in horses, with a passion for understanding not only how they perform, but how they move, feel and function as athletes.

My background began in dressage, where I trained to Grand Prix level, developing a deep appreciation for the importance of balance, biomechanics, correct training and the connection between horse and rider. Over the years, this has led me towards a more holistic approach to equine performance, combining ridden experience with specialist knowledge in saddle fitting, rehabilitation and horse welfare.

Today, I work as an Equine Performance Consultant, specialising in remedial saddle fitting, rehabilitation support and performance optimisation for both horse and rider. I hold certificates in remedial saddle fitting (Lantra), equine behaviour (SEBC), anatomy and palpation, rehabilitation, muscle taping and coaching (UKCC level 2), allowing me to assess the horse as a whole and provide tailored support for each individual partnership.

My approach is centered around understanding the horse's way of going, muscular development, comfort and behaviour, recognising that performance issues are often closely linked to physical discomfort, asymmetry or incorrect saddle fit. I also offer ridden coaching, groundwork and long reining, helping horses develop strength, balance and confidence in-hand and under saddle.

A significant part of my journey came following a serious riding accident and neck injury, which gave me first hand experience of rehabilitation and recovery. That experience strengthened my belief that both horses and riders benefit from patient, sympathetic and educated support throughout every stage of training and rehabilitation.

Wether working with competition horses, rehabilitation cases or everyday riders wanting the very best for their horses, my aim is always - to improve comfort, movement, confidence and long term performance through a thoughtful and horse-centered approach.
